David has done a lot of tree work for me over the last 3 years. He removed a large sycamore close to our house, an enormous ash tree and cut down a very big willow which was falling into our pond close to some overhead power lines, which he arranged to be protected by the electricity company.
He is a very hard worker, quietly competent and very intelligent, sensible and safety conscious in his approach to his tree work. His knowledge and understanding of the best time of year to do tree work with consideration for wildlife and the environment is excellent. He is a very tidy worker which means that when you ask him to clear a tree, everything is done properly and there is no mess. He also maintains all our hedges and our garden has never looked better.

I have used David McCarthy several times and find him to be excellent in all respects. He is highly knowledgeable and professional. We got him to remove some trees and he did a very good job of restoring some previously neglected trees. As if this is not enough to recommend him, his time keeping is spot on and he tidies up properly!
